U.S. House candidates were asked by Dakota News Now about their thoughts on the government shutdown. Nikki Gronli is concerned for farmers and small business owners logging in to the healthcare marketplace and being shocked by the prices if funding is not continued.

“I’m glad that we have folks in Washington, DC, who are trying to stand up for the public when it comes to healthcare, when it comes to education. It’s a definite wall between Republicans and Dems, and we need to see some people reaching across the party line and actually govern,” Gronli said.
